Pre-tests & Final Demonstration
The SkyMedia project will culminate in a final demonstration of the complete system during Turin Marathon 2012, when the SkyMedia system will be used to deliver to the audience a richer and more complete multimedia experience.
In order to pre-test a set of key technologies and to get a preliminary feedback from end users, two large scale pre-tests have been organised in the same scenario where the final project demonstration will take place.
The project has already carried out the first technological pre-test during the 25th Marathon of Turin, Turin Marathon 2011, when a subset of technologies have been tested. These subsystems will be further integrated for the 2012 “Tutta Dritta” 10km race.

The first technological pre-test has been carried out during the 25th Marathon of Turin, which has been held on November 13, 2011.

The second pre-test has demonstrated the SkyMedia subsystems integration during Tutta Dritta 2012, a 10km straight race, which has been held on April 22, 2012.

The SkyMedia system will be demonstrated with full functionalities during the 26th Marathon of Turin, on November 18, 2012.
The SkyMedia system will be used to deliver to the audience a richer and more complete multimedia experience, during and after the race.
Amateur Runner
A group of amateur runners will be involved in the demonstration: they will bring wearable sensors that will allow to follow runners' physical parameters during the race.
VIP audience
A special group of audience will be selected amongst sponsors, VIP, press and business partners and will be involved in different aspects of the event giving them access to exclusive content.
Spectator
A group of spectators will be allowed to follow the race from their smartphones or from HD or 3D screens which will be deployed along the marathon course.
